Eunhyuk pulled the curtains to the side, letting the sun flood the room with light. Donghae groaned. "Let me sleep for a while more. Please?" Eunhyuk moved to sit on the side of the bed, shaking his head. "You've sleept enough, it's time for breakfast. Go wash up, I'll bring the food up. I think your mum is cooking it now." As he got up to leave, Donghae took hold of his hand, pulling him back down onto the bed."Then we have time. Can we just at least stay like this for a while?" Eunhyuk felt Donghae's arms wrap around him from behind. "Okay." Donghae scooted over to let Eunhyuk lie beside him. Just as they both got comfortable, the room door opened. "Hae, do you want fish in your porridge or-" Mrs Lee stopped her sentence half-way.Eunhyuk lept out of the bed, and Donghae cleared his throat awkwardly. Mrs Lee looked at the two suspiciously. "Ummm, fish or chicken?" Donghae scratched his neck. "Either one is fine, eomma." Mrs Lee nodded, leaving the room. The moment the door closed, Eunhyuk collapsed onto the floor, his face in his hands. "Hae, what do we do? Do you think she knows?"Donghae sighed. "My mum is really perceptive, she probably can guess. She'll want to confirm it though, so she'll most likely talk to me soon." Eunhyuk let out a strangled sound. "What if she doesn't support us, Hae?" Donghae stood up to walk over to Eunhyuk. Taking him by the shoulders, he answered, "Then we'll just have to bear with it. But I'll never leave you, okay?"Eunhyuk nodded, still not very comforted. "But Hae... I want your parents to like me. Like me as your boyfriend." Donghae smiled as much as he could, he too didn't know how his parents would react. "I'm sure they will. If not instantly, then eventually." Eunhyuk felt as scared as a child on his first day to school. He didn't know what to expect, he didn't know what would happen.He reached out, hugging Donghae. He needed some sort of security right now, or he was afraid he might break down. "There there." Donghae stroked his head gently, pecking the top of his head. "Who's going to get the porridge? Or are we going to wait here till your mum comes back up with it?" Donghae pulled away from the hug, holding on to Eunhyuk's hand instead."I'll go get it. I might as well talk to her now. Stay here, okay?" Eunhyuk nodded. Donghae gave him a smile, and led him to sit on the bed. "I'll be right back. Don't worry, alright?" Eunhyuk chewed on his bottom lip, but tried his best to appear brave. "Ne." Donghae nodded, walking slowly to the door. He knew he couldn't look scared in front of Eunhyuk. It would just make him worry more.But it was hard for him too. He was scared. What if his parents didn't approve? What if they forced them to seperate? So many questions ran through his head as he walked down the stairs. He just had to get the answers to them the hard way. "Appa? Eomma?" He stepped into the kitchen, and his parents turned to face him. "Hae, let's talk."~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~He walked around the counter, face to face with his parents. "So, I told your father what I saw just now." Donghae nodded slowly, letting her continue. "Would you want to explain what that was about?" Donghae gulped. He felt incredibly nervous and small. But he knew he had to tell the truth. Letting Eunhyuk be his courage, he started."We're together, eomma." His parents didn't say anything, waiting for him to continue. "And we hope you guys can support us." Mr Lee sighed. Donghae felt his heart sink. His father had always brought him up teaching him how to be a real man. It was why Donghae was so into sports. He wondered if his father was disappointed."Give me and your eomma some time to talk this over, okay?" Donghae nodded, not daring to speak. "By the end of today, we will talk to you. And Eunhyuk. He's involved too, so he should be there." Nodding again, Donghae tried to calm himself. His parents walked away, heading towards their room. Donghae could see his mother whispering frantically to his father."Do you... love him?" Mr Lee asked Donghae, not turning around to face him. Without hesitation, Donghae answered that question with ease. "Yes, appa. With all my heart. And I believe he loves me in the same way." Mr Lee continued walking after he had heard his answer. "Your porridge is done cooking. Eat your medicine after.""Ne, appa." When his parents had disappeared into their room, he felt his legs give way. He collapsed onto the chair beside him. He gave himself time to calm down. With unstable hands, he scooped porridge into two bowls, putting them on a tray. He walked back up the stairs, entering his room. Eunhyuk was no longer sitting on the bed, and was pacing the room.At the sound of the door opening, he ran straight towards Donghae, his face lined with anxiety. "What did they say?" Donghae placed the tray down on his table, before sitting down. "They want to talk to us tonight." Eunhyuk's eyes widened, and he started to bite his nails. Donghae held his hands, preventing him from continuing."Stop worrying. I'll be with you. Now come on, eat." Eunhyuk pulled up a chair beside Donghae, nodding. Realising he should be the one taking care of Donghae, he blocked out all his nerves. He blew on the porridge to cool it down, feeding it to him. "Say ahhhh." Donghae opened his mouth, swallowing the porridge. "You too!"Donghae mimicked Eunhyuk, scooping some porridge onto his spoon. They fed each other breakfast, trying to stay positive about everything. "Where's Siwon?" Eunhyuk stacked their empty bowls on top of each other. "My brother went to watch a basketball match today. His friends and him are meeting earlier for breakfast, so he must have left the house.""Should we tell him about this? That my parents found out?" Eunhyuk nodded. "But not now, later. I don't want him to get all worried, he won't be able to enjoy watching the game." Donghae smiled. "You're a good brother." They went downstairs to wash their bowls, then went back up into Donghae's room. "You should rest now, you must be tired after all that happened." Donghae pouted. "I won't be able to fall asleep." Eunhyuk smiled. "I'll sit beside you till you fall asleep. Will that help?" Donghae nodded, grinning. Eunhyuk tucked the covers tightly around him, patting his stomach. "Sleep." Donghae closed his eyes slowly, smiling. "No matter what happens Hyuk. I'll always love you." Eunhyuk smiled. I'm scared, hyung." Siwon hugged his brother, patting his back. "It'll be fine." Donghae had left the room to give the two some time alone to talk. "Will you be there to help me?" Siwon smiled."I think this is something you and Hae have to face together. But I'll be upstairs, when the talk is over. You can always come to me then." Eunhyuk sighed, but he knew his brother was right. "Don't look so sad. Come on, you haven't eaten dinner yet, right?" Eunhyuk shook his head, and followed Siwon out of the room.Going down the stairs, they went into the kitchen and saw a note stuck to the fridge. "Boys, we cooked dinner earlier on. Everything is in the fridge, just heat it up. We'll talk to you soon." Siwon opened the fridge and started to scoop out food for the three of them. "Call Hae down, I'll take care of getting our food ready."Eunhyuk quickly ran up the steps and poked his head through the door. "Hae? We should eat dinner now." Donghae looked up from where he was sitting at the table. Getting up, they both headed downstairs. "Just a few more minutes, and the rest of the food should be ready." They nodded, and the three of them sat around the table.Siwon looked from his brother to Donghae. "Come on guys, stop looking so dejected." Donghae sighed. "It's hard not to be, hyung." Siwon smiled, wanting to cheer them up. "Look at it this way. You guys would have to tell them about your relationship eventually. Why not sooner than later? There's no point dragging out what will happen in the end.""We know what you mean, hyung. But we're still scared." Standing up, Siwon retrieved their food from the beeping microwave, placing the tray down on the table. "Don't be. The two of you love each other, right? So nothing can break you." Eunhyuk smiled, appreciating his brother's efforts. They ate quickly, all the worrying had increased their appetites.Siwon offered to clear the plates for them, letting the two go back to their rooms to prepare themselves mentally. But just as they stood to leave the table, Mr and Mrs Lee came out from their room. "It's time to talk, boys." They sat down again. Eunhyuk started to fidget, nervous. Donghae held his hand under the table.As Mr and Mrs Lee sat in front of them, they both stiffened. Siwon hurriedly washed and dried the plates, not wanting to appear like he was eavesdropping on their talk. "Siwon. Sit down. We want to talk to you, too." Siwon froze, then nodded, putting the plates away and taking a seat beside his brother. "You knew about the two of them, right?" Siwon nodded.Mr Lee nodded, clearing his throat. "Okay. Let's talk." Am I mean for cutting the chapter off here?
