Thanks for commenting! “Young master, we’re home.” The chauffeur announced. L slowly peeled opened his eyes and sat up, looking out the window. Sure enough, they were right in front of his house.L let out a small yawn before grabbing his backpack and stepping out of the car. He slung the backpack over one shoulder and trudged towards the house.“Welcome home, young master.” The two maids greeted. L grunted tiredly in response. “Welcome back, young master.” Mr. Choi bowed. L handed him his backpack and headed for the stairs.“Wait, young master, your parents are waiting for you.” Mr. Choi reminded. L groaned and slowly turned around to his butler, “Where are they?” “In their study room.” L nodded, “Then I’ll go there. Bring some Tylenol and water to my room. I’m starting to have a little headache.” “Yes young master.” Mr. Choi bowed.L turned around and went down the hall instead of going up the stairs. He went straight to his parents’ study room. When he reached it, he knocked.“Come in,” He heard his mother’s soft voice call. L grabbed the door knob and twisted it, opening the door. He stepped in and gently closed the door behind him. He bowed to his parents’ in greeting.“Mr. Choi said that you guys wanted to speak with me.” L looked at his parents, who were busy with their work. “Yes, sit and wait until we’re done with this.” Mr. Kim ordered. L inwardly groaned and rolled his eyes, but obliged. He sat down and waited for his parents to finish their work.L was bored out of his mind. He had been sitting in the room for half an hour and his parents didn’t seem to be getting any closer to being done.He was about to open his mouth to ask them if he could be excused, but his father stood up, heaving a sigh. “There, all done with that one.” Mr. Kim looked over at Mrs. Kim, who had also finished her paperwork. The two adults walked around their desks and sat across from L, who was now sitting up straight. He looked at his parents. They looked tired from working too much, but he couldn’t say anything because they wouldn’t listen to him, so why try.“What is it that you and mom wanted to talk about, father?” L asked looking at his father, who looked straight into his eyes. “Your mother and I wanted to inform you about a company party that is happening in a week and a half.” Mr. Kim started. “What party?” “The Yoons company party.” “The Yoons?”Mrs. Kim nodded, “Yes. The Yoon Corporation is having a grand party to celebrate their fiftieth anniversary and we were invited.” “Do I have to go?” L boldly asked. Mr. Kim shot his son a look, “Of course you have to go. You’re our son, so you have to go.” “Yes and I also heard from many housewives that they will be finally having their eldest daughter attend the party.” Mrs. Kim added.“Ah, I forgot about that. She is said to be a very beautiful young lady.” Mr. Kim noted. Mrs. Kim nodded, “Yes that is what people have said.”L frowned. He didn’t like going to parties, but now he had to go. Damn.“Why can’t I skip this party? It won’t matter much to me anyway.” L piped. His parents shot him a look, “No, you’re going no matter what.” “But just because I’m your son does not mean I have to go. You guys know how I don’t like parties.” “Well this is an important party,
