The Trainees (1/1)

*Flashback (Hana's POV)*"Please give a huge round of applause to the trainees for that fantastic show!" The MC spoke into the microphone causing the fans to explode into a thunder of clapping. They kept on chanting “We love all of you” over and over again. I stood backstage and giggled at the screaming fan girls, ‘Everyone is going to be very happy hearing so many people cheering for them.’"Nuna! How did we do?" Tao ran up to me as the boys started to make their way backstage."Tao, I think those screams outside should answer your question!" I laughed and hugged him tightly to congratulate him for the success.  "You guys did great! Congratulation!" I went up to Baekhyun and Key and gave each one of them a tight hug. My friendship with Jonghyun and Suho was not strong, so I gave them light hugs.I looked at Kai, "Aw come on Mr. Serious at least smile on this occasion." He gave me a death glare as everyone laughed at my comment. I walked up to Taemin and embraced him firmly, but as I released him, I glanced back at Kai."Go take a shower Mr. Unhappy, you stink!"He gave me a scarier glare and began chasing me while the other members burst into a roar of laughter.

*Baekhyun's POV*SM, the company that we were training under, had a new idea which involved a handful of trainees going through experiences like concerts, reality shows, and so on. The 7 lucky trainees were Kai, Taemin, Chen, Tao, Jonghyun, Suho, and myself. We didn’t really have a name for us so we were just referred to as the trainees. Today the seven of us were fortunate enough to perform on the same stage as our sunbaenims such as DBSK hyungs and BoA nuna. Our performance today was a great success making everyone, including the CEO, really thrilled and pleased.I quietly scanned the room as it was evening and we had returned to our dorm. Tao and Chen were playing Mario on Nintendo 64; Jonghyun hyung and Suho hyung were in their room; Kai was listening to his iPod; Taemin was on his laptop, and Hana was drawing in her sketchbook with her head rested against Taemin’s shoulder. She liked Taemin very much, but he never returned those feeling back. What confused me was despite the fact that Taemin did not like her, he still let Hana get close to him; the closer he let her get to him, the more Hana fell for him.‘Tae knows this fact then why is he allowing Hana to come close to him?'"Hyung! YOU CHEATED!" The peacefulness and quietness in the room was shattered by Tao screaming at his Chen hyung."I didn't cheat! I won FAIR AND SQUARE!" Chen yelled back as the two boys started to wrestle."Chen, Tao stop!" Hana got up from her place and rushed to stop the two dongsaengs."Nuna, it's not fair! Hyung cheated!" Tao whined stomping his feet on the ground and wailing his arms."Nuna, I didn't cheat! Tao is just saying that because he lost!" Chen stuck out his tongue at the maknae."Nuna will take my side because she loves me more than you!" Tao took a hold of Hana's right arm."That is not true, nuna loves her Chen more! Don't you, nuna?" He said as he took a hold of her left arm."No, she doesn't!""Yes, she does!" They started to have a yes, no argument as they tugged on Hana's arms."Both of you, stop!" Taemin said as he took Hana away from his hyper dongsaengs, "Redo the round…""Hyung, why did you stop them so soon? I was enjoying watching Tao and Chen using Hana as a tug-o-war rope!" Kai smirked."Be quiet, Mr. Frowny. At least they know how to have fun unlike you. Besides I would be rather their tug-o-war rope than spend a day with you and your frown."Kai set aside his iPod and arose to chase Hana but she hid behind Taemin, knowing that he would protect her."Kai." Taemin scolded his dongsaeng and shook his head."Thank you, Taemin, for saving me from Mr. Melancholy!" Hana hugged him as Kai shot her a glare before returning back to his spot and plugging his earphones into his ears.

*Hana's POV*The room had returned back to normal except Chen and Tao were being noisy as usual. I leaned in closer to Taemin, "Do you want to go outside?"He nodded in reply and we headed out to the large balcony located outside that room. The sky was dark with little specks of shining stars; the air was filled with fragrance of Jasmine and Roses from the garden below; the breeze lightly tickled our skin and ruffled our hair. The moon was shining its brightest today making my heart feel happier.I went up to Taemin and wrapped both of my arms around his right arm and gently leaned my head against his arm, "Taemin, do you know the connection between full moons and Valentine's Day?" I asked examining the full moon in the sky."No…" He too was studying the beautiful marvel."It's said that at midnight on Valentine's Day, when the moon is full, if a girl and a boy unexpectedly meet each other, then they will end up together for the rest of their life.""Do you believe that’s true?""I don't know…" I smiled to myself, ‘But I do know that I love you, Taemin!'"By the way you did a fantastic job today! All of you did great." I said quickly looking at him."Thanks, but we are far from reaching our goal. This is just the beginning.""Taemin, you guys will do great! I can't really say much about Jonghyun oppa and Suho oppa since I don't know them well, but they are talented. Tao might be young, but his rapping and martial arts skills are out of this world. Chen and Baekhyun have smooth voices and girls love them. Kai's is pretty great at dancing. As for you, you are the most experienced dancer out of all of them. Not to mention girls‒are crazy about you…""Jealous?"I glanced up at him and gave a small pout, "Very…"A short pause followed until I broke the silence, "Taemin, do you like anyone or have you ever liked anyone?"Before he could answer Baekhyun came out, "Tao and Chen are at it again."Taemin sighed as I released his arm, ‘Why can’t those two just get along for once? I didn’t want to be disturbed…I barely get to spend alone time with Taemin.”The three of us returned to the entertainment room to see the two dongsaengs on the floor wrestling each other.*End flashback*
