Chapter 1 (1/1)

I looked at myself in the mirror and I just couldn’t believe how my hair refuses to behave. Kim Heechul had to be ill and told me to do the interview for him. I should be studying for my finals which takes place next week. Yet here I am brushing my hair away. I kept telling myself not sleep with my hair wet. Repeating that to myself several time, I attempted to bring my hair into control once more. I rolled my eyes in annoyance and looked at my pale face. I gave up on fixing my hair and just hope to dress semi-presentable.Heechul is my roommate, and he has to catch the flu today. Since he can’t attend the interview for the school newspaper; I was volunteered. I have final exams to cram for and some essays to finish. I’m supposed to be working today but no, I have to drive 180 miles to Seattle in order to meet the CEO of Lee Enterprises Holding. Inc. Even though the CEO is busy; he still granted Heechul an interview. It’s pretty damn hard for the CEO to accept my request, he tells me. Damn him and his extracurricular activities.Heechul is sitting on the couch with a bowl of soup in his hand in the living room.“Eunhyuk, I’m sorry. It took me a year to get this interview. It would take another year to reschedule, and by then we’ll both graduated school. As the editor of the paper, I can’t let this slip by. Please.” Heechul begs me in his raspy voice. How does he do that? Like even when he is ill, he still looks presentable.“Of course I’ll go, Heechul. You should get back to bed. Would you like some Tylenol or NyQuil?”Please Subscribe to read the full chapter
