Spring 2013 (1/1)
Spring 2013Spring was like a breath of fresh air for Sooyoung, compared to the cold they had received during the winter. She welcomed the change, along with the New Year and was already basking in the warm weather with her friends, as they would very so often meet outside of school at the nearby Baskin Robin for ice cream. She was thankful for her friends, they made school a lot easier and a lot more interesting. There was never a dull moment with them and because of that, they were given the nickname “noisy girls” in their class. She relished at the fact that they all seemed to be on good terms with Junhong, making it easier to have conversations with him.She supposed she had that one time afterschool to thank for her new found familiarity, closeness? She wasn’t sure what she should call it. It wasn’t as if they had become friends after the incident either, but she no longer felt the need to be stiff around him, she was cautious with her actions, but not stiff. Perhaps she was starting to see him as just Choi Junhong the student and not B.A.P.’s maknae Zelo and maybe perhaps she was getting closer to being able to call him a friend. It had been very thoughtful of him, to sign the poster, and his actions had stayed with her for a while. She wondered if he did the same for all of the girls in school who had asked for his signature; if he threw them a pretend fan sign event and all. She found herself secretly hoping he didn’t.“Sooyoung-ah!” She heard her name being called and found her friends amongst the crowd of travelers at the subway station.“What took you so long?” They asked and Sooyoung smiled sheepishly while trying to hide the gift she had bought.“What’s this? You bought a gift? Who are you going to give it too?” One of them asked trying to take a peak, but Sooyoung had skillfully moved it away.“Yah!” She playfully shouted moving the bag behind her.“It’s a secret.”“It’s for Junhong huh?”Sooyoung let out a scoff, in an attempt to deter her friends from finding the truth. They were eventually going to find out who the gift was for anyway when they got there, but she wanted to hold the teasing off for later. Besides she had to prepare herself for when she met him. She wondered if any of her other friends were going to go to his table or if they were going to the other members.Yongsan really wasn’t that far and riding the subway only made it faster for the group of friends to reach the park. As they neared, Sooyoung awed at the amount of fans already gathered. Splitting up with her friends while ignoring their “I told you it was Junhong” remarks, she made her way to the Zelo sign and patiently stood in line. Her nerves were getting the best of her, and as the girls around her continued to check themselves in their compact mirrors, Sooyoung suddenly became conscious of how she looked. She almost asked if she could borrow theirs for a quick second but decided it wasn’t worth the confrontation. Making do with a quick run of her fingers through her hair, Sooyoung continued her wait.Slowly, but steadily, the line was getting shorter and with each step closer to the stage, she felt her heart rate increase. It’s okay Sooyoung, it’s just Junhong-ssi. He’s just a student like yourself. Just be natural. She told herself as she neared the tall boy who had changed his blond hair to a silverish/purple hair color. The hand holding the green gift bag had gotten sweaty and she had a right mind to just leave before he noticed her, but he had looked so adorable signing away that she didn’t have the will to leave before having him acknowledging her. If she wanted to be friends with him, might as well admit being a fan first.♥♥♥♥♥Zelo smiled at the crowd in front of him. He was currently peeking his head out behind the stage to see how many of their fans had come. It was their tenth fan sign event that month and he was touched that there were still fans coming. He wasn’t sure what he had done in his past life to receive all the love he had, but he was happy for it.The feeling of being love was precious and every time he felt the love from his fans, B.A.P’s fans, he felt the need to give something back to them. That was why he was working so hard to become a better Zelo. The love he received was what made him not mind having to do all the extra work from missing school, not mind all those hours of sleep he lost, and not mind having to overwork his body from practicing or from going to one event to the next. He knew his hyungs felt the same way as him and that was why he thought they made the perfect team. While scanning the crowd, Zelo thought he saw something, or rather someone, but lost sight of her when he suddenly heard the announcer speak and had to retire from peeking out from behind the stage in order to get ready to greet the fans. After a short introduction, the members of B.A.P. made their way to the table that was set up for them. Zelo found himself between Himchan and Jongup and as they waited, he quickly scanned the crowd of fans in front of them wondering if his eyes had played a trick on him.The image he had thought he had saw quickly vanished from his mind when the fan sign officially began and he was immersed with signing or playing with Himchan.Fans, one after another came up to the table and Zelo had just finished signing a CD for a noona fan when a green bag appeared in front of him.“Hello Jun-ah, no I mean, Zelo-ssi!” His ears perked up at the sound of her voice and when he looked up he almost jumped out of his seat. So his eyes hadn’t been playing a trick on him. One of the staff quickly reached for the bag from behind and Zelo took a mental picture of the bag so that he could grab it later. “You know you could’ve just asked me at school.” He said as she reached into her bag to get her CD, though he appreciated that she had taken the time out of her day to come. “I know, but I’m your fan.” She replied cutely, and he thought back to when she had said the same thing at their pretend fan sign.“Park Yerin?”She let out a small chuckle, “No, Park Sooyoung.” She said with a smile and Zelo returned her smile, happy that he was signing to Park Sooyoung. So she is my fan. He thought as he watched her walk off the stage and if she was a fan of his; that indirectly meant that she liked him as well. The moment B.A.P entered their dorm, Zelo went straight to the pile of gifts they had received earlier that day. Spotting the green bag he quickly reached in ignoring the neatly placed paper gift wraps and pulled out a packet of paper along with a mechanical toy robot. Dumbfounded, Zelo placed the packet of paper down and tore open the envelope.Hello Junhong-ssi!Confused? Hehe..I didn’t get the chance to properly thank you for our “pretend” fan sign. Thanks to you I’m officially the best older sister, it’s not much but I’ll take what I can get. That packet of paper, it’s a study guide. I’m not the brightest student, but I worked very hard to make it and I think it’s done pretty well. Please use this study guide for our upcoming exams. Well you don’t have too, but it might take off some extra work for you. "Everybody already know? Hey shout your voice to the world?" Congratulations on your successful comeback! You’ve worked very hard this year already. You’re barely in class, because your too busy becoming even more famous. >.< Please make sure you’re eating on time and getting enough sleep! Oh and I wasn’t sure what to get you, but I found this neat little mechanical toy robot. Isn’t it cute?Park SooyoungZelo reread the letter a couple of times, smiling that she had wrote one of his lines down, before finally placing it back in its envelope. Taking the robot he winded the key on the back and placed it on the ground. He watched the robot moved away from him for a few seconds before placing the packet of paper in his lap.He laughed as he read the title. “Junhong’s Guide to Success.” <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>So.........did you guys hear about Red Velvet? Joy's not the maknae anymore......but's it okay because I'll still ship Joy with Zelo (and of course I'll continue to support RV). Excited for their comeback! Now onto the story, I decided to come back a little earlier than expected, but because of that, this chapter is shorter and I'll be splitting the year 2013 into three chapters (in other words, I haven't wrote Summer 2013 or Winter 2013 yet...lol). However that just means more JoyXZelo moments! Also, instead of doing Her and His like I did for 2012, I'm doing Her and His both in each season. I feel like it's more effective this way and less redundant. Please comment and tell me what you think of this chapter. I'm trying to progress their friendship, but it's so hard.
