Chapter 2 (1/1)

I woke up by the sound of my phone buzzing, lazily I rubbed my eyes and glanced at the alarm on my nightstand next to my bed, it was 10:45 and I still have alot of time before going to work so, I decided to make some breakfast for me and get dinner ready for Jongin when he comes back from school, it's the less thing I can do for him. He offered me a place to stay and there is nothing I can do thank him. When I finished everything I went to my room and got myself ready for work.

After about fifteen minutes walking, I arrived at the café where I found Jinae running around the place taking orders and quickly runs to the kitchen and then take it the drinks to the customers.I glanced around the café and noticed how crowded the place was. Jinae must be very tired of working so far so, I quickly ran to the back of the café and change my clothes to my uniform and started to help Jinae around.When I finished my shift at evening I  called Jongin so we can walk home together, but he didn't answered my calls,  I sent him several text messages but still no answer from him. It was little weird because Jongin always answer my texts and he never ignore my calls" Hello? " When he finally answered my call. I realized in his voice that he was son how panicked." Jongin, where are you?" I asked worriedly. He never ignored my calls what changed him and why does he sound nervous?" Sojin! Uh-listen I can't go home with you tonight, and probably will be late so, don't wait for me, I'll see you soon " he said quickly before hanging up. He didn't give me space to even speak, so I couldn't protest.Before going home I decided to go shopping with Jinae, I was going to walk home all alone anyway, so it doesn't matter if I was late. We bought some new dresses and shoes, we ate some ice cream and went to see a movie, and then we bid goodbye to each other and we both went on separate ways.When I got back home I saw Jongin in the kitchen he looked terrible even worse than before, he was all covered with the stinky red stains and was holding a knife in his left hand while the other one holding the phone next to his ear. I hid behind the wall so I can listen to whatever he was saying.
