DEGAJE (1/1)
Jongin felt the familiar heat of a blush slowly spread across his cheeks. "Ahaha! No, no, I'm fine. Remember that correction I gave you for tomorrow. I don't want to see dead fish feet again. Later!" She was so... cute? He laughed to himself, remembering how her eyes sparkled in annoyance over his ballet failures. Jongin and ____ had been friends for years. However, like most boy/girl friendships, they'd had their share of crushes. All had ended in failure, but the awkwardness that followed quickly faded away. They soon found themselves trading choreography tips and food. But this time Jongin felt different. She was so beautiful, so strong. Watching her dance, Jongin knew immediately what he wanted. To match her in passion and musicality would be easy, but in skill, well that was another subject. That subject being the very reason Jongin enrolled in a ballet class. “Yo! Earth to Mr. Day Dreamer!” Taemin's dark hair swished as he hopped back and forth in front of his friend, trying to get his attention. “Oh,” Jongin murmured, as his mind snapped back to the busy city street, “My mind was miles off,” “Apparently,” Huffed Taemin. He stepped back and twirled in place once before striking a pose. “How’s my outfit?” “Fine,” “You didn’t even look!” Jongin raised his head to inspect his friend. “Dashing, never have I seen a better outfit on anybody.” “Psh, yeah right” retorted Taemin, a pleased look on his face. They walked in silence for a while, both enjoying the spring air and solitude. “How did you ballet class go?” asked Taemin, breaking the comfortable silence. “Brutally. That had to be one of the hardest dance classes I have taken.” “Whoa, hard core,” Taemin replied, a look of amazement on his face. "Ever taken ballet?" "Nah, not really. Too proper for me." "The teachers don't know how to chill," Jongin laughed, "but they know their stuff. I could write a novel of corrections." "Why are you taking that class again?" Taemin asked, raising his eyebrows in an impish grin. "To get ahold of my technique better," he replied. That was half true, at least. “And perhaps a certain pretty girl might be added to your newfound obsession of ballet!” Taemin laugh, opening the door to the coffee shop. “YAH, YAH, YAH!” Jongin’s punishment for Taemin’s too-close-to-home jest was brutal. Taemin rubbed the back of his head. “All those ballet teachers must be getting to you!” Jongin smiled his most charming smile. The boys quickly found a seat and ordered. The coffee shop was familiar, it was their favorite hangout. Many a night cramming for exams was spent there and their blueberry scones had no parallel. “All those ballet teachers must be getting to you!” Jongin smiled to himself. "Yes they were, and one in particular is having a serious effect on my actions."Taemin cocked his head to the side, confused. "You have to be the most mentally unstable person I have ever met. Crazyyyy" Taemin made a cookoo face at his friend before leaning down to take a sip of his latte."Insane." replied Jongin :)
