[M] The Statues Close Their E (1/2)
*ViolenceMinhyun didn’t hesitate. He made way for the door as fast as he could, practically jumping over everyone in the process. When he reached the garage to find that both of the cars were missing, he frantically fumbled for this cell phone in his pocket, dialing Joonkin’s number wrong three times before getting it right. Without question, Joonkin hopped into his van at once. Minhyun’s heart sunk. What could have happened? Well, a crash was obvious. But what hit him, or did he hit it, rather? Was he alive and well, or.... the tall brunette didn’t want to think of what could have been wrong.
When Joonkin’s van appeared in front of him at a screeching halt, he got in quickly.
“Where is he?” the manager asked as they sped off. The night was dark, and the rain was heavy. Minhyun would be lucky if he could remember the way to the forest in which he’d found Jonghyun earlier that day. That is, if he was even there. Where else, though? Come to think of it, why was he out in the first place?“I don’t know. It can’t be that far, can it?” He was as calm as he could be.
---
Jonghyun tried his hardest to open his eyes. They were still foggy with smoke, but the pain in his left arm hadn’t let him keep them closed any longer. As he came to, he realized what he wished he hadn’t. The odor of burning flesh and gasoline trailed to his nose, and he coughed horribly. He used that breath to scream for help, though he knew no one could hear him.
The image of Minki was the single thing that kept him from giving up. He had to find him, and when he got out of there, if he ever got out of there, he swore that he would. Tears had never flooded his face more than they did now. He turned his head to watch the fire singe the skin of his arm and pass his shoulder. After moments, the cloth of his shirt was engulfed in flames. He felt the heat mostly in the still painful stitching on his stomach. It burned like nothing ever had before. He bled and bled, but kept his eyes open as he shouted more. His pleads for help quickly turned to pleads for Minki. The tears from his eyes could have put out the flames alone.
He heard a car speed by and stop over the crackle of the fire. He was sure that they would help him; how couldn’t they? He forced an arm through the broken window, through the flames. His hand was instantly colder, and he could feel as his skin fell from the muscle and into the damp grass.

“There!” Minhyun said loudly, pointing out of the window. They’d came across the only car that they could see. It was engulfed in flames. Surely whoever had been inside of it was beyond help. Worry filled Minhyun as he hoped with everything that he had that it wasn’t their leader.
Joonkin stopped the van, parking it without turning the key. The two of them rushed to the scene of the accident, staying back as the flames spread. Minhyun cautiously moved towards the driver’s side window. He noticed a very burnt limb hanging from inside and he coward yet again in fear. He hadn’t had the slightest intention of looking through the window, but he took the unnamed hand in his. The odor of the flesh of this arm, and quite possibly the rest of the body inside, caused the brunette’s intestines to twist so suddenly that it gave way. He coughed more afterwards, the last of the contents of his stomach leaving his system.
Jonghyun gathered more air into his lungs and shouted again. “Who’s out there? Help!”
Joonkin had already called for help by the time he’d knelt beside Minhyun. He plucked the large pieces of glass from the arm before tugging the misshapen door from it’s now broken hinges. He pulled lightly at the seatbelt that still held him to the seat and it fell apart into dust. Jonghyun hit the ceiling. The two more than healthy others pulled him from the wreckage just before the rest of the vehicle crumbled.
Jonghyun laid face up in the grass doing nothing but coughing. It was seconds before the ambulance and firetruck appeared. The moment he was touched by a paramedic, Jonghyun dropped back into unconsciousness. He hadn’t felt himself being lifted onto the gurney not anyone tending to his major wounds.
Minhyun took no more time for himself. He dialed Minki’s number at once.

Minki woke quickly, tugging at the ropes that held his hands behind his back and against the chair he sat in. The room was dusty. No windows aside the, against dusty, one in front of him, which served, as he could decipher from the ancient recording equipment, as a one way mirror. The door he could see to his side was his only chance of escape; if he could untie himself, that was.
He inspected the room more. It was dark, and so the figure of the body lying in front of him wasn’t seen until he’d looked closely. He attempted to kick it, coming to find that his feet were bound to the legs of the chair as well. The blonde jumped as he felt his cell phone ring. It vibrated loudly against his thigh, and all he could do was wait for it to stop.
How had he gotten here? He thought back as far as he could, which served him not much of a purpose. The last he’d remembered was Dongho approaching him as he ran. Dongho. That must have been who the other was. He squinted through the darkness and made out the strong features of his face. He tried kicking him awake again, but he only nudged him with a toe.
“Baekho, you fucking moron, wake up!” he finally exclaimed. His eyes were hard on the only other person in the room as he repeated himself. “Wake the fuck up!”
Dongho only yawned. At the sense of life, Minki shouted again, “Yah!”, waking him this time.
He rolled over before sitting up. “Where the hell are we?”
“That’s a great question, Nimrod. The last person I remember seeing was you.” the maknae explain calmly, with the most sly smirk on his face that he could cook up. “Why don’t you tell me where we are?”
“You act like I know.”
Dongho stood, feeling the pistol still his pocket as he did so. He reached for it, but hadn’t pulled it out. He looked at Minki. The blonde was clearly annoyed, but that didn’t stop the vocalist from analyzing his every angry move. He came closer to him.
“Baekho, tell me where we are or I swear to god, I’ll kill you!” he spat. His usually clean, straight blonde hair looked a mess. The hair tie hardly held it back anymore. Dongho stopped moving as he thought. He looked at the maknae again, his expression instantly changing. He pulled the pistol from his pocket, cocking it before turning it on Minki. His eyes opened quickly as he kicked again.
