[M] //teardrops (1/1)

It was sunny and bright an hour before, that’s why Jaebeom doesn’t know how it was that now becomes cloudy and the color gray spreads through the skies. And as gray as the sky was Jinyoung’s mood. He was gloomy since morning and only steps out of his room when it was time to eat. Jaebeom knows something is up because Jinyoung ALWAYS comes out of his room, with or without schedule. When it was dinner time, Jaebeom requested Yugyeom to bring Jinyoung to the dining area for them to eat altogether. Yugyeom came back without Jinyoung in sight.“Where’s your hyung?” Jaebeom asked.“He doesn’t want to come and he… He sounds like he’s crying,” Yugyeom answered. Jaebeom then went to his room and got the dorm’s spare keys. He ran to Jinyoung’s room and plugged the key with shaky hands. He wants to know what was bothering Jinyoung. When Jaebeom opened the door, Jinyoung was sitting on his bed, head between his knees, crying his heart out. Jaebeom ran to his side and pats his back until he knows Jinyoung is calm enough to speak. He brought him water to drink and closed the door behind him.“Jinyoungah, what’s up? Why are you crying?” Jaebeom asked.“Jaebeom hyung, if-if I become crippled will you still love me?” Jinyoung asked. Jaebeom looked at him weirdly but still nodded nonetheless.“If I become paralysed, will you still you love me? Will you stay by my side even if I can’t move anymore?” Jinyoung asked, his breath still not calm from his crying. Jaebeom looked at him and asked himself why his lover is asking him things like that. It was not as if Jinyoung cut off his limbs.“Jinyoungie, I will love you no matter what. I told you that, didn’t I? I will repeat it again and again. I love you and nothing can stop me from doing that, ok?” Jaebeom said, his thumb, rubbing smooth circles on Jinyoung’s face and wiping his tears in the process. Jinyoung nodded and resorted to hugging Jaebeom when he doesn’t know the words to say anymore.“Promise me you won’t send me to Dignitas even if I really want to,” Jinyoung said, his eyes gleaming with the unshed tears left in his eyes. Jaebeom ‘oooh’-ed when he realized where Jinyoung got the idea of crippled people and quadriplegics.“Me Before You?” Jaebeom asked wherein Jinyoung nodded. The elder chuckled and shook his head.“Of course I won’t send you to Dignitas! I’ll keep you forever,” Jaebeom said.“I shouldn’t have recommended you the book if I have known you’d get this emotional,” Jaebeom added and chuckled to himself when Jinyoung pouted. He hugged his lover tighter anyway, silently promising to keep him in his heart whatever happens.
