A/N: I'm apologizing in advance if ever there's a typo or grammatical error, didn't proof-read. yea. :(Soft brushes, that’s what she’s been doing for minutes. Flowers are one of the favorite things she wants to sketch. Not because it’s girly, but because sketching a flower seems so elegant for her, every petal she drew seemed to have meaning for her. She had a small smile while doing so. Her hair was covering her face and her work, not minding her classmates being so noisy. Once she’s finished, she placed her pencil beside her work and then she sat up straight and looked at her work. Feeling satisfied, she closed her sketch pad and silently waited for their teacher. She looked beside her, which is the window and from the second floor which their classroom was located, her view is the school’s field, where soccer and physical activities, events are held for. “No, no! This movie is daebak, we should watch it all together!” She heard a loud voice, and it seems the group of boys just entered the classroom. If she’s not mistaken, the owner of the voice is Taehyung. “Yea, ditch your girlfriends and come with us, assholes!” Hoseok laughed at the boys.“No way, hyung! She’s expecting that date from me, so piss off!” Jungkook said and she can almost her him smirking. “Awww, no fun!” Hoseok said. “Leave the maknae alone, it will be a disaster if all of us will be at the movie house” her heartbeat unexpectedly beat faster than the usual when he heard the next voice. She was tempted to look at front but chose not to do so. “Aww, Jimin-hyung you’re the best!” Jungkook said then she heard some of the seats were moved.“Ack—let go Jungkook you—you’re heavy!” Jimin said. “Quiet down, we will start the class now” She heard the teacher said and then she looked to her front knowing the boys won’t bother to look at the back now. She rested her elbow at her table and looked at Jimin’s back figure. This is what she usually do, always stare when he’s not looking. Sometimes she thinks she’s a creep, but that’s the only thing she can do, watch him when no one is looking, it’s enough for her. She doesn’t need to talk to him for her to be happy, she can be happy just by watching him from afar, laughing with his friend. It’s been exactly two years since she began developing feelings for Park Jimin. She didn’t know how it began, all she knew was at first, she found him pretty cute. Also, everytime he laughs, he brings her to heaven, and she feels very contented watching him smiling and laughing. If she’s having a tough day and then she will cross path with their group and she heard him laugh, all of the sadness in her body just go away. She didn’t know at first. Not until she told her sister about this developing crush. “You like him!” Her sister insisted.“What? No! I—I just—““What other reason for you to stare at him all day in your class? You’re not a creep!” Her feelings was confirmed when she unknowingly started to sketch the outlines of his face at her sketchpad. Realizing this, she immediately closed her sketchpad and blushed like a mad woman. She only sketches the ones she likes! Like flowers, houses, a scenery, her sister, her dog, and maybe some anime characters and idols that she likes. After contemplating her feelings for months, she finally accepted that she harbored strong feelings for the man. Especially when she sees him playing around the children at the elementary building of their school, it just warms her heart. There was never a chance for the two of them to have an interaction. After class, she let her classmates go first while she busied herself in slowing down in packing her things. She grabbed some snack at the cafeteria first and then headed out to go to the field. She plans on finishing his sketch of Jimin in her sketch pad. She know the boys are usually hanging out at the middle of the field, she found the familiar bench she always sits at, she also made sure that her location is far away from the boys. Sitting at one of the benches beside the school’s field, she rested her elbow at her legs in indian sit, she pointed the other end of her pencil at her cheeks looking at the group of boys playing at the middle of the field. She sighed, looked down at her sketch pad, she already drew his face but not his eyes; she stared at the smiling figure in her sketch pad. She groaned and raked her hair in frustration, why can’t she perfect his eyes? Maybe because she didn’t have the chance to look at him closely, she’s only watching her from afar. Hiding behind the deepest shadow can ever be. She’s also one hundred percent sure he doesn’t know about her. Heck, maybe even her existence. They had few classes together but that doesn’t mean he know about her. She’s always sitting at the back, beside the window; even the teachers barely know her, basically she’s a nobody. Graduation is soon and she is also determined to finish her sketch. She plans to give it to him, maybe put it inside his locker or leave it at his usual sit at the last day of school, but the only problem is she really can’t perfect his eyes and it frustrates her. She’s usually good with eyes but with his, she just can’t seem to figure out how to draw it. She’s been sitting there for four hours; she also saw the group of boys leaving two hours ago while she stays rooted at her spot. She sighed once again and was about to close her sketch pad when she heard a familiar voice and freezes. “Oh? That’s me, right?” the familiar voice said with excitement in his voice. She closed her sketch pad and put it inside her bag, she looked up and her eyes widen even though she knows who it is. Park Jimin. She blinked and did the thing that first crosses her mind. Run. Her breathings are still unstable when she stopped running and ended up at the women’s comfort room. She leaned at the door and she closed her eyes. “Pabo!” She hit her head with her sketch pad. What should she do now? It’s impossible for Jimin to not remember her face. Jimin is known to be a friendly person, and a kind one too. “Eottokhe?” She mumbled and made a fake crying face. “E—Eottokhe?” Her last class also happened to be one of the few classes with him, and she did not thank the heavens for that. With heavy heart she slowly made her way to the next class. Doing the usual thing, she looked at the ground while walking in to the class avoiding any eye contact, when she reached her seat she quietly slipped in and groaned then laid her head at the table facing the window, shutting the world around her. Feeling really tired she unknowingly slept in the class. She felt someone poking her shoulders. She fluttered her eyes open and came in view is the night view of the field. She sat up straight and looked at the culprit, her eyes widen and her body jolted up in surprise making her fall at her sit, her butt came in contact with the floor. “Aww” she hissed in pain. She felt someone grabbed her arm, guiding her to stand up, when the hand came in contact with her arm, even though she’s wearing the school’s uniform she can feel electric volts running down her spine. Her face felt warm and she inwardly cursed because at that moment she knew she’s blushing. “Thanks” she mumbled and started to gather her things, when she was about to put her sketch pad inside her bag she heard him speak. “You’re her, right? The one who’s at the field” Jimin said, and she can figure that he’s slightly smiling with the tone of his voice. She kept looking at the desk and was about to deny it, but then she stopped and think, there’s no use in hiding it anyway. “Yes” “Oh, I was about to leave the room, my friends ditched me when I fell asleep, that bastards” Jimin mumbled the last words. “You want to come with me?”She immediately shook her head. “You can go on without me, I’ll go later” She took her sit once again, and scrolled through her phone. Jimin’s eyes furrowed. There is no way he will leave a girl at the room, alone, at 7 pm. That would be rude. He thought. Instead, he sat across her and faced her, he placed her bag at her table and looked at her. He tried to peek at her face because of her hair. Her heartbeat is insanely beating wildly against her ribcage, she’s worried he might hear it, with its loud beating. She sighed and pounds her chest slightly. Why are you still here? She thought. “You’re sketching me, earlier, I saw it” Jimin’s voice freezes every cell of her brain, she slowly looked up at Jimin, she was expecting that once Jimin found out what is she doing, he might creep out, but all she can see is the sincere look and happy face of Jimin, it’s like he’s happy someone is having an effort to think about him, nonetheless, sketch him.She can’t say anything! She’s panicking, she never even thought that she can have this conversation with Jimin, it’s like, a dream that will never ever come true. It’s almost impossible for her to talk to him, that’s what she thought for years. She looked at his eyes. They held gazes, she explored everything, and she memorized every detail just by looking at his eyes. She didn’t say anything, she did not respond to his sentence. All she did was just stare at him. So she did the most unexpected thing. She opened her sketch pad and flipped through its pages, Jimin can see glimpse of flowers, a girl, a sunset, and finally his face. She pulled out her pencil inside her bag and began with a few strokes. Jimin stared at her hands while doing so; she’s so focused with her sketching that Jimin took the chance to stare at her. With few brushes she managed to draw his brows, next is his eyes. Jimin rested her elbow at her desk and his chin is on top of his hands, looking at her. She completely forgot about Jimin looking at her. Once she took in the perfect details of his eyes, all she wanted to do is sketch them as soon as possible; she wanted to remember it for so long she can. She finished her sketch with soft brushes. She placed the pencil beside her sketchpad and looked at her work contentedly. She had this small smile all through out while drawing him. “Wow” Jimin mumbled. She flinched in surprise when she finally realized she’s not alone. She looked at him, and he’s looking at the sketch pad. Then he looked at her. “C-can I?” He gestured for the sketch pad. Her cheeks flushed once more, she was about to shook her head because she’s so shy to make him see it, but too late, Jimin is already holding the sketch pad, looking at it with admiration and happiness in his eyes. She fidgeted in her seat. What should she do now?Confess?Or find a reason why is she sketching him?Just what can she say to Jimin for him not to think that’s she’s not a weirdo and a creep, she looked at Jimin once again, she felt her heart warm with content when she saw Jimin’s reaction at her sketch. She’s been dreaming what would his reaction if she finally finishes it. Jimin looked up from the sketch pad to take a look at her. His eyes softened. She did not know the reason why, he’s just too good to be true. “Has someone said you’re very amazing? This—this is a masterpiece, well—not because this is me—no not like that, but yea, it’s just that, when you draw, it’s just so beautiful” Jimin mumbled. Jimin smiled. She fell hard. Jimin placed the sketch pad at the desk and looked at her. “I’m just wondering, why me?” Jimin asked. She was lost in his eyes, she half smiled. “You’re just too beautiful..” “I—I was always looking at you from afar, so all I can do is to sketch you”“Every time you smile and laugh, it’s just so beautiful that I had to sketch you, you know—I probably sound like weird, but I really like seeing you smile” she mumbled and looked down at her sketch. “But all I can do is to sketch you, because watching you is enough for me, you’re just hard to reach you know? We’re the complete opposite” she laughed a little. “I didn’t have the courage to talk to you, I’m just so shy, and I’m not that good with people” Jimin groaned and hit his head with the table. “Ahhhhh~ all this time?” Jimin felt shy.“You probably don’t know me, so yeah, I’m thinking of giving it to you at the last day, but you found out so quickly” She laughed. She handed it to him. She quickly stood up and headed to the door and walked outside, when she’s walking at the hallway, she heard Jimin shouted. “Yah!” “You’re wrong! I know you!” She slowly looked behind her, there was Jimin, standing a few feet away from her. She blinked at him, confused at what he was saying. She was sure he doesn’t know about her. Their teacher never calls for an attendance, but just let them write a piece of paper their names and let it circle in the room. Jimin smiled and waved the sketchbook at her. “Annyeong! Kim Jangmi!”
