Foreword“There he is…”                Whispers start to echo the hallway as they took their step in the building. Amidst their footsteps, she can hear their whispers.  She can hear the squeals of teenage girls like her; she can hear their buzz of whispers filled with anticipation.                It was already October. Temperature was starting to drop in Seoul and the wind seems like to have a lot of fun today. Everyone was already wearing their own sweatshirt and jackets.  She looked out the window from their four-storey building while continuing to walk. The leaves are starting to change their colors and she can see a lot of them fall to the ground.                ‘Pretty’                Whilst other people like spring as they see the beautiful pink cherry blossoms, she liked autumn better. The dynamic ombre of brown to yellow colors of the leaves was one thing she has always loved. Tightening her grip on the folder she embraces, she looks at the back of the person walking in front of her. She can’t stop but think if the guy even notices her walking behind him. Probably not.  October wind started to blow and it stunned her how perfect his hair sways to the wind.                Disturbed from her thoughts, she removed some of the hair strands of her hair that went to her face when the wind blew. In contrast to him which made the wind blowing in his hair look like a commercial, hers looked like a mess.                ‘Damn wind.’                She tried to fix her hair by combing them by her fingers while still walking. But her actions were stopped midway, and probably her heartbeat also stopped when the guy infront of her turned around. She breathed. Deep. As if she’s going to consume all the oxygen and held her breath for a few seconds. Scenarios started to play around her mind as the pale faced, not-so-tall guy started to face her.                “YAH!”                She almost melted when the guy smiled exposing his teeth, showing his eye smile while waving his hands. Time froze for her, literally, she was shaking. She tightened her grip on the folder, afraid that it might fall because of her shaking. He started to walk near her, and the nearer he got, the faster her heart beat went.                Surprisingly… Well, maybe NOT that surprisingly, the guy passed by her. As if she was just some invisible person, as if she was just some potato, he passed by her and went to the taller guy behind. Turning her head, she saw the taller guy put his arms around the guy’s shoulders.                “Hyung, can I now claim my prize for not getting late? I bet the others are doing their best too. I see someone’s going to treat the whole gang our lunch today~” the taller one teased as his eyes shaped into crescent when he smiled.                Right. How on Earth would he be able to notice her? Yeah.  She always sees him. But he had never laid an eye on her. She always notices him. But he doesn’t even know about her existence. They may belong in the same school, in the same class… She may see him almost every day in the corridors.
