Summary:

Min YoonGi has moved to a new town after unforeseen circumstances tore their way through his life. Now more alone than ever, the university transfer student working a crappy part-time job as a laundry assistant is the proud owner of a haunted rundown apartment in a distant district that barely has a marking on any map. His landlord is nowhere to be seen, the aged security guard is as morbidly humorous as a tumour with sour comedic skills, and his neighbours are a bright bunch of nosey blights, psychopaths, menacing kids, and supersitious old folk.Did I mention his ghost roomie obsessed with plants? Yeah, there’s her too: A sarcastic pain in YoongGis ass who has no recollection of her memories from when she was alive. All that there is to connect her human past to her undead present is a strange charm pendant, a hidden journal, and the horror movie boiler room which our unfortunate anti-hero is adamant about avoiding at all costs.  What Am I To You?Plants and people grow the same when they receive love.ThemeMagia - AmaLee [Madoka Magica - English Version]&The Truth Beneath the Rose - Within TemptationTypeShort ficSeries[That Girl Is A Problem]GenreDark Comedy, Mystery, Supernatural/Ghost Story, Relationships, Ocassional Crack, DramaCharactersMin YoonGi [Suga; BTS] & HaeYeon [OC/You]. The older man said nothing as he turned to leave, but his grin told a tale in itself.Placing the final box of his belongings on the kitchen counter, the brunet exhaled a lengthy sigh. This was his new home. A blank space with peeling yellow-tinged paint and a forest growing on the balcony behind sliding glass doors. Taking a bottle of beer from his rucksack, the new owner shuffled along the space void of any furniture, yet piled with carboard boxes. Cracking the seal of the booze, the brunet flicked the latch of the patio doors open. With a yank and then a heafty pull taking up his entire body weight, the occupant was met by the heavy seaside air and overcast view of the decrepit little town and shoreline. Resting his forearms on the rusted metal barrier, the man squirmed from the itch of the overgrown plants entwining around his support. “What was wrong with the person who lived here last.” He tweaked a leaf belonging to a Winter Rose with a frown.A crash sounded behind him, causing the occupant to jump. Spinning around, he glowered at where the smash had come from; it was where he had placed the set of the only four glasses he had. Now, even from his spot across the room, he could see there was only two. Narrowing his brows, YoonGi grit his teeth in suspicion. There was no breeze strong enough to knock them off, nor anyone else around. It made him think back to what the security guard had said. “I hope you’re not easily scared.” What could he have meant by that? Regulating his heartbeat, the tenant went back to looking over the view of varying shades of slate and beige. He had been warned about the next tenant along who was said to be ‘a little disurbed’, along with a brief telling of the other wacky stays that surrounded him. There was no way someone could get in, smash the glasses, and then leave without him seeing.“Bloom.”The hoarse whisper caused a prickling chill to run up YoonGis spine. He quickly turned on his heels and his his chest in fright, his eyes darting left and right. “Who’s there?” He tried to sound stern, but it was more of a warble than hed anticipated. There was nothing. No sounds, nor crashing; just the rush of waves along the shore a few dozen yards away, and a sitting room that had gone from musky and stuffy to downright freezing in a matter of seconds. Maybe it was just another tenant....The walls are pretty thin...Already, YoonGi hated the space. He had never believed in ghosts or anything like that, but he was now put in a positition where he was made to at least aknowledge the possibility.
