Summary:

I was a Lonter. A Lonter was a lone fighter which was equal to a gang member without a gang. You could relate it to a rogue; a wolf without a pack. A lone fighter. It felt free. I could be alone and I wasnt tied down by any gang member. I didnt need to have any feelings, any problems that involved the gang. Actually, to put it in a very blunt and honest way, I just couldnt find anyone who wanted to be part of my gang and I couldnt find anyone who could accept me as a gang member. Many reasons, many excuses but they all came down to one main problem: I was a girl. Gangs hardly had females because they were seen to be weak and no gang could afford to have a weakling. It was rare to see a female gang member. If one were to be seen, she would be extremely ruthless, even more than the males so that they could show the gang that she deserved the place and she deserved to be in the gang. Since females were all looked down upon, most of the female population worked in the markets or if they were the unluckiest of all females, they would work in a brothel. Perhaps more than three-quarters of the female population worked in the markets, slightly less than one-eighth of the females worked in the brothel and the very last few were in gangs or looking for a gang; like me.Gangs. They were seen every single day on Gang Street -named by the gangs themselves- to fight, to battle for possessions between one another. The street wasnt originally named Gang Street but after the daily brawls, the gangs just decided to own the street and renamed it. No one could do anything about it, because they all knew that they were searching for death by doubting a gangs doing. Every gang had a name, a rank and an official colour. The naming of gangs. It started with the very first few gangs. It served as a purpose to be recognized by others. The ranking of gangs. It was to show how ruthless, how brutal and how strong the gang was in overall. There were three ranks. The senior rank; the highest ranking, also equivalent to the strongest or one of the strongest gangs. Only three gangs were ranked as senior gangs. The junior rank; they were the average, also meaning that their strength and brutality were average. Most gangs were in the junior rank. The rankless; They were the worst of all gangs in terms of strength and brutality. They were so bad, they couldnt even be ranked. The official colour of gangs. It served the same purpose as the naming. To be recognized by others. To this very day, I was still searching for gangs. I would go to Gang Street and battle it out, individual from a gang against individual who was me. I would desperately search for the three senior gangs, hoping to join them and hoping they would notice my battles with the junior gangs and recruit me. The little glimmer of hope almost faded away until I was approached. Approached by who? A senior gang.   ForewordGang stories omg <33333 Lately, Im so super obsessed with gang stories and I read one just yesterday and Im hoping she would update soon. Like reallyyyyyyyy soon.
