It is in the times when nature decides to assert its strength that we realize...maybe we’re not as great as we thought we were. Foreword This is a realization that struck me hard recently, and in the midst of a storm (quite literally) this story began to take form. I dedicate this to all who have suffered and who are suffering from events that are out of our control. I know it hurts, I know it’s scary, but know that you’re not alone even if you sometimes feel like you’re the only one.By the way, Im going to go ahead and ruin the atmosphere, and say that the song that will appear in the story is JJ Lins Ai Yu Xi Wang, a song he had composed on his own for victims of a natural disaster (the earthquake in Sichuan back in May 12, 2008). It is a beautiful song of hope, love and the anticipation of a bright tomorrow (its title translates to Love and Hope).This has to be one of the longest one-shots Ive written to date.And I wasnt sure if this qualifies as angst, so I didnt tag it.
