Essential Secret Service for Extreme Military All countries have their own way of dealing with internal and foreign affairs; with gangs and spies; with misconduct and terrorism. E.S.S.E.M. is South Koreas secret agency that handles extreme cases in everything from drugs and prostotution to radicals and terrorists. E.S.S.E.M. agents are top notch, the best of the best, therefore one of the only possible ways to get into the program is to be scouted by an agent. Agents undergoe intense training, both physically and mentally. They are expected to be on their best behavior at all times and never disobey orders. Agents are given false identities and job descriptions in order to avoid being compromised in any way. Relationships are forbidden unless cleared with the board of E.S.S.E.M. E.S.S.E.M. has many enimies. Other countries are often caught trying to break into their buildings and stealing secret information. There have always been threats from foreigners, but this is one of the times where the threat against South Korea takes a serious turn, so serious that the most talented squad of E.S.S.E.M. agents must be dispatched.
