I honestly didn’t know there were quite a number of people who like this pairing (apart from me because they both are my biases from FT Island & Miss A) since I’ve only heard of HongkixMin and JaejinxSuzy. Hongki is wealthy, good-looking and somewhat irresponsible. His irresponsible attitude leads him to insist driving himself & his wife home from a late night party despite being drunk. After he loses his beloved Min Young due to his recklessness Hongki drowns himself in self-loathing and guilt & shuts himself away from the world & from his daughter. You’re going to make Lily sick!” Min strolled out of the kitchen a large bowl of porridge in her hands. “She is not going to be sick. She is happy aren’t you squirt?” Hongki tickled his daughter’s tummy causing her to gurgle with laughter. “I am happy!” Lily planted a noisy wet kiss on her father’s cheek. “Alright. If you are happy then eat this porridge. I’m tired of chasing you around the kitchen to make you eat your dinner young lady!” Min pointed the spoon at Lily who stuck her tongue at her mother. “You haven’t had your dinner yet?” Hongki asked his daughter who shook her head. “Don’t trouble your mother Lily. Eat your dinner.” Hongki set Lily down who merely pouted. “Feed me papa!” she made puppy eyes at her father. Unable to resist his daughter’s cuteness Hongki asked Min to hand him the bowl of porridge. “You father & daughter duo are incorrigible!” Min scolded her husband & daughter lovingly. “Yes we are.” Hongki & Lily both stuck out their tongue at Min.“Honey! Are you ready yet? Jaejin is here already!!” Hongki yelled up the stairway hoping that Min could hear him. She always took an awfully long while to get dressed. Hongki was already waiting in the living room with Lily for almost an hour while Min was dolling up. Hongki heard Jaejin’s bike pull up right in front of the mansion’s front granite staircase & groaned in frustration. Now even Jaejin had arrived & Min still wasn’t ready. “Hongki hyung! I’m here! Lily baby!” Jaejin took Lily into his arms & kissed her noisily. “Tell me when you are going to be my girlfriend?” Jaejin tickled Lily’s tummy causing her to crack up.  “I already have a boyfriend!” Lily giggled. “What? A boyfriend?” Jaejin asked in mock anger. “I’m ready!” Min walked in wearing a short white dress. Hongki whistled in appreciation. “You look beautiful!” he told his wife appreciatively. Blushing at his compliment Min walked over to Jaejin to hug her twin brother. “How are you Jaejinnine?” Min asked her brother ruffling his hair. Even though they were only ten minutes apart Min still felt like an older sister to her brother. As always Jaejin was able to read her mind & he gave her a warm hug. “I love you Minyoungie but you really need to learn how to be punctual.” Jaejin tapped at his watch. “Beauty takes time.” Min shrugged.  “Let’s go! Lily is in safe hands. Now Jaejin remember. No television after 10pm & absolutely no sharing the vanilla ice-cream in the freezer.” Min warned Jaejin who was already sharing a gleeful look with Lily. “Okay got it.” Jaejin said catching Min’s eye.“You’re so fierce. You’re scaring the children.” Hongki laughed when he spotted Jaejin & Lily sitting on the couch watching ‘Ice Age’ like a pair of perfect angels. “They better be.” Min stared at them one last time before getting into the Ferrari. “I hate this car!” Min grumbled. “Why?” Hongki was offended that his wife hated his precious Ferrari. “Because it goes too damn fast that is why.” Min tapped the speedometer with distaste. “Seriously? You don’t know how to appreciate the fine things in life woman.” Hongki scoffed.“Hongki honey.. I think that is enough..” Min tried to stop Hongki from downing his eleventh shot of tequila. He already had more than 3 jugs of beer and now he was downing tequila like a madman because of some dumb bet with his ex-fraternity brothers from college. “Relax Min honey..  I’m fine.” Hongki’s speech was already slurred. “I’m going to call us a cab.” Min took out her phone but Hongki stopped her. “Don’t worry! I’m fine! I’ll drive us back home!” Hongki smacked his chest proudly. Min didn’t believe a word of what he was saying but she had no choice. Hongki either wanted to drive both of them home or spend the night at the hotel. Min had no intention of spending a night away from Lily so she had to agree reluctantly to let her drunken husband drive her home. “Now I wish I had learnt how to drive.” Min watched Hongki stumble to the driver’s seat. “Hongki.. maybe you should stay here. I will get a cab home.” Min stopped Hongki but he as usual didn’t want to listen to her. “Be careful!” Hongki heard Min’s voice from beside him. Her voice was muffled & distorted as they were submerged underwater. His foot firmly on the accelerator Hongki drove on even though stars sparkled in front of his eyes. “That was some lethal tequila.” He smiled at Min whose round face was pale with fright. “Hongki.. slow down please..” she begged him her voice cracking. “I’m going slow honey!” Hongki leaned over to kiss her. “Stop it!” Min pushed him away & let out a blood curdling scream. A sound that would always resound in Hongki’s nightmares for a long time to come. Hongki turned his attention back onto the road a little too late. The headlights of the Jeep flashed into Hongki’s eyes startling him. Losing his grip on the steering wheel Hongki felt the Ferrari skid across the icy road. He felt Min’s grasp on his arm tighten painfully & heard her call his name one last time before icy fingers of darkness clasped around his body paralysing it.
