Some wait a lifetime to find love.Others wait for the next to live it.  Foreword 1609 Kyuhyun pulled the dagger out in a trance. The werewolf growled lowly, but by the time Sungmin’s body fell down, the beast turned into a human male. Kyuhyun could do nothing but stare. All Kyuhyun could see was the werewolf crying, desperately trying to stop Sungmin’s bleeding. But he was unaware of how numb the werewolf felt from the moment he smelt Sungmins blood. For the werewolf, the world stopped moving and his own injuries became meaningless. It seemed like Sungmins body had fallen down in slow motion into his arms. Suddenly the hunters around him were no longer important. Suddenly all of his senses were completely focused on Sungmin.How did that happen? Why did that happen? Kyuhyun looked at his hand. It was shaking, but he was viciously holding onto the bloody dagger.The werewolf had pushed Kyuhyun’s mentor and the other hunter apprentice away. The werewolf was weak, disoriented from the silver poisoning his blood. Kyuhyun had clean aim, so he pushed Sungmin behind himself.Now you see. A good werewolf is a dead one.Sungmin had seen it, he had been attacked as well, so why? Why did he take the fall? Why didnt Kyuhyun use his inhuman speed? Because Kyuhyun wanted that werewolf to look him in the eyes and die. Die like his wife had died when those beasts and vampires attacked his village. Kyuhyun wanted to savor a death. But it was not supposed to be Sungmin’s death."I am sorry... Youngwoon... you cannot die... because of my mistake... dont let them..." Sungmin’s voice made Kyuhyun focus on the dying human, who was craddling the beasts face."Young master... Please, dont... Dont leave me... Please, dont..." The werewolf replied in between his cries. At that moment the beast looked so humane. Kyuhyun could swear there was regret in those eyes, in those tears rolling from the werewolfs cheeks onto Sungmins. But he couldnt know how much that werewolf was self-loathing, how much he felt like the stupidest being on the planet, because how could he doubt Sungmins sincerity? How could he dare try to attack the only one who had not cast him aside? The one who accepted him even though he was such a monster, a beast.  "Youngwoon... I love you... I will never leave you... If I truly am able to... Reincarnate... I will come back to you... I will... So you cannot die... You must not die... I... Will love you... For eternity," Sungmin replied, but his voice was dying away, his body was losing warmth way too fast. Unable to keep looking at Youngwoon Sungmin closed his eyes.Kyuhyun thought of his wife. He had not heard her final words. He was not close enough. He couldn’t hold her like that."I will never leave you..." Those were Sungmins last words before his heart stopped. How could a noble child fall in love with an abomination? Were the hunters thoughts.Kyuhyun looked at his mentor and his partner. They were looking at the scene with disbelief written all over their faces. They still couldnt believe on what they were seeing, the werewolf pressing on Sungmins wound, trying to stop the blood loss. He seemed genuinely torn apart on hoping to save the human and knowing his efforts were in vain. At that point the hunters couldnt know that the werewolf, for the first time since his first change, experienced a cold feeling, for the first time his hands felt like covered in ice, his soul became cold and he felt part of him was dying along with Sungmin.Sungmin’s heartbeat stopped."Young master... Dont... Please dont!" The werewolf bent over the dead body, crying miserably. "Sungmin... Sungmin... Dont leave me... Please... I love you too."The werewolf’s heartbeat slowed. A moment later he looked up, and his desperate eyes locked with Kyuhyun’s. "Please dont kill me... Let me wait... For him... Please..."Kyuhyun sustained their locked gazes until the werewolf passed out.Kyuhyun had seen himself over his wifes body.Kyuhyun let the dagger fall.That werewolf was capable of loving a human. Maybe Sungmin was right. Maybe there were good werewolves out there. What if the werewolves at his village were fighting the vampires? What if they had been trying to help? If the hunters had not fought the werewolves, could his wife had been saved?Kyuhyun had to know.
