Thunder at Noon
Tao is a wandering soul who takes over the body of "Thunder," a boy of little importance in the grand scheme of things. In his attempt to be left alone, he accidentally attracts the attention of Oh Sehun, the heir to a popular bubble tea franchise which he couldnt care less about. // this is my first fan fiction, and I wanted it to be in a more modern setting (for those of you who read my upload the other day)...anyways I hope you enjoy it and I really like comments so please feel free to leave me something :-) // ForewordHe was a drifter, a wanderer, a nameless being destined for a life of never belonging. There were times when he was enveloped in darkness, accompanied by nothing expect his own thoughts, while he waited for something to happen. Humans called his kind spirits and demons and other things they created out of fear. He, after some time, called himself Tao, because a warrior in an ancient battle had nicknamed him that and he liked the sound of it. There was no controlling the possessions, and it happened at such unsuspecting times that the host rarely got the chance to fight back, not that anyone was expecting to get taken over by a roaming soul anyways. There was no reason for getting thrown into a certain body, fate showed no prejudice or preference. And, as a result, there was no telling when the soul would get sucked back up into the void where it resided-though those returns were usually untimely and unwanted. Tao pitied the hosts more than himself, because one day they would wake up and have no recollection of the past few weeks, months, and sometimes years. And whatever impact the soul mightve left on the earth, the host would feel burdened by for the rest of their lives. For eight hundred years, Tao went on this way-avoiding earthly companions, existing without ever living, all in an attempt to protect himself from attachment. At that moment, he began to fill with knowledge and memories-none of which belonged to him. A heartbeat replaced the emptiness and the pulsating blood warmed him. In an instant, he opened his eyes and looked upon the world as Thunder.
