will you cast the die?
Bang Yongguk is renowned throughout the criminal world. Hes pulled off more heists, more frauds, spun larger and more complex webs of deceit at the age of 25 than most could say in their entire lives. Now, some say hes building an army. The truth is, Bang Yongguk is not building an army. Hes building a team. ForewordInspired by (what else?) B.A.Ps One Shot MVHopefully, Ill actually be able to get more than one chapter done of this.(As of 3/3/13, I have two chapters done and a third in the works, so I might actually be able to finish this)Updates WILL be extremely sporadic, if at all.(Background image from ~SxyfrG: Sydney City Streets 2)This will most likely be a five-shot, if that word even exists - five chapters, related but in a rather disjointed way, one for each member of BAP (except Yongguk, because hes the leader and the central character, in a sense). Itll also be a prologue to a longer fic that will be more closely related to the actual One Shot MV that I may or may not actually write. It depends a lot on my level of creativity and the feedback I get for this fic. Teaser:Bang Yongguk has never not completed a job.If nothing else, thats what hes known for. Of course, that isnt all hes known for - hes a crack shot, an amazing assassin, who doesnt demand exorbitant prices or act like a foolhardy college student. Hes feared, too, for having a temper unrivaled by any and for having a hit list that he doesnt ignore. Yongguk hasnt been in the scene for long, but hes already made his mark.It doesnt make him invincible or perfect at all."You need a mechanic or a black market dealer," Jeon Hyosung tells him bluntly. "Your cars too noticeable now. People avoid ones that look like yours, you know, like the way they avoid dark minivans with shaded windows because of Super Junior.""Or cherry red Corvettes because of you," he adds, and a smile curls around Hyosungs lips."Like that," she agrees.Yongguk shakes his head in annoyance. "Why do I need a mechanic for that?""You dont. You just need a new car, but you cant risk your anonymity to do that.""And why not," Yongguk asks. He tells himself hes not sulking because hes far too badass to sulk.Hyosung doesnt agree. "Just because I sometimes act like your older sister doesnt mean you get to act like my younger brother, you know," she tells him, and it sounds exactly like shes scolding him for putting mud into her makeup or something. He doesnt mention it because Hyosung and SECRET are dangerous and, although theyre close enough to him that they wont outright kill him, they know how to make life a living hell for him. No connection is too close to break, so he just shuts up and nods like a good little boy. Or criminal."You need to get more connections," she continues. "You dont know enough people.""I know you and you have connections," he says. Hes still convinced that hes not sulking. She glares at him, only half-joking. "My connections are not your connections. I can help you sometimes, you know, but I have my own gang to work for. Find people yourself."
