Sehun is a struggling college student who has been given 30 days to pay for the two months rent he was due, or else be kicked out of his apartment. He confides in his best friend for help, but is left to make his own decisions when he learns of his friends sudden death. With nowhere to go, he is faced with many hardships, but the biggest hardship comes in the image of an ethereal being by the name of Byun Baekhyun. At least, thats what Sehun sees upon their first meeting. That is until Baekhyun lets him into his life, and he is exposed to the real Byun Baekhyun,  a stubborn drunk with an unusual fascination in the smell of earth after it rains and the inevitability of death.
