Summary:

I believe in soulmates. I know there is someone somewhere out there meant for me. Someone with whom Im going to spend the forever that I have. Someone whose hand Ill be holding, and will hold my hand too, no matter how creased our faces have become.I believe in it so much that when that person whom I feel is my soulmate kneels in front of me and asks for my hand right here, right now, Id immediately say yes. But what if when I finally meet that man, I find out that he doesnt believe in marriage? In forever? Would that mean...    ... he wasnt my soulmate after all? Foreword I stared at my reflection. Was it really me? It’s awkward to say this but I looked beautiful. The make-up on my face was thicker than usual but it was not overdone. My cheeks were tinted rose pink, my eye shadow was a shade of peach mixed with a little white, I wore false eyelashes that made my eye look bigger, and my lips were painted pale pink. My hair had a loose little braid on each side and it was put in a slightly messy bun which was studded with little pins with diamond-like gems.I heard the door open and saw my mom entering the room.“I still can’t believe it. My baby is getting married,” she said with a faint smile on her face. The way she looked at me now was not any different with the way she looked at me when I was still young. Her motherly gaze was something that always made me feel warm.I stood up from my seat and went to hug her. “Aw, Mom,” I said, my voice quivering. I was now on the verge of tears.“Let’s not cry. We don’t want our make-up to be ruined!” she joked. But I knew tears were starting to well up in her eyes as she hugged me tighter. The door opened again and it was the stylist. My mom and I parted and I sat back on the chair. The stylist attached to me 5-meter long veil, and together with it, everything started to sink in. I was indeed getting married. I was going to start the commitment with the man I’m going to spend the rest of my lifetime…  I could hear the organ start to play as the entourage started. I held my parents’ arms closer to me and stopped myself from crying. I was having a lot of things going on in my heart at that moment but the feelings doubled when it was now our time to walk the aisle.“Keep your head up,” I heard Mom whisper.Hearing that, I realized my eyes were fixed on the red carpeted floor. I slowly tried to lift my head and look at the altar then to the man I was going to give my hand to. I could only see his lips pulled into a smile. Then a thought struck me: to whom was I getting married to? I lifted my gaze from his lips… /KRING! KRING!/ I lazily reached for the alarm clock without opening my eyes and was going to put it on snooze but I remembered what was up for today. I jolted up from my bed, grabbed my towel and took a bath. ________________________________________________________________[A/N] I feel so bad posting a new story without even finishing the other unfinished stories. Like them, I cannot promise a regular update with all the school stuffs and BEASTs pre-comeback news and whatevers going on. But I think Im going to put attention to this until I finish it. Though, again, not regularly.
