Fidelity *REVISING*
Love doesn’t fade, but loyalty does. Kris Wu does not deny the fact that he loves her dearly -- he even loves her more than he thinks he does... but he just had to give in to certain temptations. ForewordThe Main Characters: Name: Wong Da Jie English Name: Isabelle WongAge: 17 Wong Da Jie, known to her Korean friends as Isabelle, is a simple girl who looks at things brightly. She is neither rich nor poor; she’s just a middle-class girl who lives in a medium-sized apartment with her father, step-mother and half-brother, Zhang Yixing. She uses her deceased mothers surname in hopes of remembering her even when she didnt really meet her. She rebelled against her family by joining a group of rebellious kids back in her middle school years when she found out that the woman shes been calling mother was just her real mothers best friend; while mourning for Isabelles mothers death, something happened between her father and Mrs. Zhang, forcing them to get married because Yixing (Lay) was formed. Upon entering high school, she left her rebellious friends and stopped contacting them altogether. Isabelle isn’t the top student, but she manages to stay in the top twenty of her batch. Despite the fact that she is a very beautiful girl, she doesn’t think that she is one. She likes to keep a low-profile and this, she maintains wherever she goes. She hates being in the center of attention although she had been one in every place she goes to. She isn’t athletic, but she likes to play sports at times. She plays basketball and soccer with the boys when she feels like it. She’s not a tomboy but she definitely loves to stay with boys rather than gossip with girls. Isabelle has this one flaw that no one knows. Although she has it, she dreads it; she’s afraid of it. She doesn’t even know why she has it when shes afraid of it! Either way, she learns to overcome it and becomes an even happier girl. She dreams of working in the Film industry. She is confident that one day, she would be achieving her dream of becoming a Director or maybe, a Producer. Although she knew that it would be a tough road, she still continued believing that she’d end up achieving her dreams, especially because everyone supported her. Despite the fact that they aren’t rich, her parents succeed in sending her to a private academic institution called ‘Haneul Academy.’ She meets Wu Fan (who goes by Kris) in the academy and internal problems within her started erupting. Isabelle manages to feel happiness, sadness, anger, and a whole lot more with him. He confuses her, but being in love, she stays with him. That is, until he does something that somehow changes her feelings for him. ------------------------------------------------ Kris and I have always been friendly towards each other. We had fights, of course, but we always made up towards the end of the day. I could say that he’s one of my few friends who remained loyal to me despite everything that had happened. Originally, he was just a friend. He was someone I trusted so much, someone that I thought would always just remain as my friend… he was a brother-figure to me. That’s why, when I fell for him, I couldn’t believe it; it was a surprise for me to know that I began loving my friend, someone that I’ve always thought would remain as a brother. But then again, it’s Kris that I’m talking about. That smart, responsible, good-looking, and lovely boy. He’s one of the few boys that I know no one would bad-mouth; he’s just too perfect for anyone to be compared to him and to be bad-mouthed. That was probably the reason why it was so hard for me to believe that this guy would fall for me and love me with all his heart, and vice-versa. Yes, I loved him. But we were never meant to be together. This is my story… no, our story. This is our memory. My name is Wong Da Jie, more known as Isabelle. To me, Kris Wu is a big liar. ------------------------------------ Name: Wu Yi Fan English Name: Kris WuAge: 17 Kris, as he is commonly called by everyone, is a teenage boy who moved from Canada to South Korea to pursue his dream. His happy family accepted his decision, knowing that he won’t be stopped by anything. He achieved his goal to get a scholarship in middle school to lower his living costs in Korea and meets friends who have the same goal as he had. After graduating from middle school, he continued being a scholar in the same school and eventually meets Isabelle Wong. To many, he is the epitome of perfection. Cliché, right? But yes, that’s just the way Kris Wu is. He is like Isabelle in many ways. Both are not as flawless as everyone thinks, but they are close to being flawless. While Kris is one who looks like a model who had just stepped out of a magazine, Isabelle is one who looks like she had just come down from heaven. No one except Isabelle is sure which scholarship he had. Does he have the athletic scholarship or the academic one? That is one of the few questions asked about him. He could certainly play basketball. If he didn’t move to Korea, he would probably still be the captain of his basketball team back in Canada. He was also the top student of their batch. He never misses out on school and he never treats his colleagues – sunbae, hoobae, teachers, friends, strangers – badly. Despite the fact that he is the most popular guy in school, he never uses his status. He remains humble and down-to-earth, making every girl swoon over him and boys to want to learn from him. After sharing one sweet moment with Isabelle, he starts confusing his feelings and finally confesses to her. He does things that would make her realize his sincerity, but all of it goes down the drain after many wrongdoings, years later. --------------------------My memories of being here in South Korea have something to do with her mostly. Why wouldn’t it be? I met her one year after I moved to Korea, and it’s been seven years since then. She probably told you that we’re friends turned lovers. Well, it’s true. Isabelle is the person who taught me the Korean language. Being a foreigner in Korea, it was really hard to mix with the others, simply because I don’t know the language. Isabelle, being of the same descent, made it a point to teach me the language, and well, she succeeded. Aside from that, there are other things she did for me; she encouraged me when I needed it, especially as a trainee. She lifted me up when I needed it the most. She’s the best friend that I needed back then, the person who most of you would probably think as my savior. When she became my girlfriend, I was the happiest person. I knew that I had a chance, but I wasnt too confident. That is, until she finally gave me the chance I kept asking for. But everything ended two years ago, when she left me because I hurt her too much. I was stupid letting her go, but she’s happier now, so I guess its better to let her go. This is my memory of being with her, of the happiest moments of my life. My name is Kris Wu, and we might not know each other, but I have to say this: I’m still in love with Isabelle Wong, my ex-girlfriend. --------------------------------------------- Hello! As many of you would know, this is connected to ‘The Break-up Story.’ I stopped calling it a sequel because I don’t really think that it is one. If you haven’t read it yet, then please don’t read it for now (it’s weird that I’m stopping you from reading it, right?). You may read it later on, when problems regarding the title of this story starts appearing; not just now so it wouldn’t spoil anything. I don’t want to remove it from my stories because I think that it’s my greatest story so far. Anyway, if you have been subscribed to this story ever since, I would just like to warn you that I have changed things, but you don’t have to reread the last few chapters because I didn’t really change anything that would affect the story flow. I will go by fluff, drama and angst, but the first chapters will tend to be fluffy. Hm, not too much angst though, but the theme will be there. And drama, yes. Much, much drama. To you who have just started reading this, I hope you’d enjoy! I also hope that all of you will not be disappointed with this story. As early as now, I would like to warn you of grammatical errors. If you see any error, kindly tell me and maybe, explain it so I would understand it more? For that, Id really be thankful. :) ---------------------------------------------------------- Poster credits goes to: ❝Arcane Aspiration❞andB L A C K R E D . STUDIO
