Her mother broke her promise and now Hyojin, the socially awkward daughter of a multinational business mogul, is set up with a good friends son, Kris Wu. His good looks, popularity and attitude are things she disliked about him but her mother insisted to give him the entire senior year before finalizing a decision. There is something that irked her most about him. He is seeing someone else but he intends to marry Hyojin. ForewordCharacters the fianceeChoi Hyojin The fiance Kris Wu The Best friend Park Chanyeol the girlfriend Kim Sohee This is my senior year, my final year in high school. When I thought I was about to face the sweet ending, my parents managed to wrong me at the last minute. This year will be a force to be reckoned with compared to my previous years. I dont even know why they considered taking these kind of measures... My name is Choi Hyojin, 18 years old, the daughter of the CEO of a multinational conglomerate holding company. Disregarding the last part of it, I am pretty much a normal awkward high school girl. I am not so social as I am not so used on how to cope up with the teen rage. If it only came with a handbook then I may have perfected like a normal exam, but no. Im proud to say that I have two good friends at least. Despite of my awkwardness, I am not isolated at school, in fact, I was someone who everyone wanted to be friends with-- thats according to Sora. My high school is an elite school attended by the sons and daughters of powerful people in South Korea; what goes around the school will always be business oriented and every kid mustve been informed to be friendly around certain people like the Choi kid. The recently placed obstacle I have to overcome is my parents decision to pair me up with the son of the top Chinese electronics company CEO. Arranged marriages solves everything in rich families; using their own child as some kind of token for a good transaction. Its funny actually, it was just last month when my mother assured me she wouldnt let me marry by force well she just took a dump on that trust now. I didnt take them as the parents who would take a shine on some electronics company.. I am not engaged yet-- thankfully. There wasnt exchange of contracts or anything according to my knowledge. Our parents gave us some sort of freedom to just test each other out and see how it goes. The guy would be transferring to my school so we could meet and get to know each other for the whole senior year. I was informed that my decision by the end of the year would be respected but after what just happened, I wouldnt take their word for it. So.... I bet youre all wondering. Whos the lucky guy? Theres one word to describe him. Hes a jerk. A/N: I am not a fan of arranged marriages but I just had to get this out of my head. May be switched later on to Rated M for languageand for potentials of having mature scenes in the future. This may or may not be written in the third person POVidk OTL still havent decided.
