honestly trying to be friendsbraces often come as an inconvenience when it comes to talking, eating, and playing sports. for the sake of beauty and the love of your appearance, you have to live with the annoying metal train tracks in your mouth that cut the insides of your lips and cheeks to no end - and lets not forget the pains of getting your braces tightened.overall, no one likes them...and if you happen to get them in high school, then youre one unlucky kid. unfortunately, second year student, kwon soonyoung, and first year student, kwan choyoung, are the only ones in school that wear them. after years of going through elementary and junior high just a grade apart from each other, only now did they realize that the other even existed. and it just so happened that one normal gym period, they tried something that only happened in movies…---------------------------------------------------------------------htbf : the 2015 remakehello everyone, this is ming - you may know me by my old username narcissistic. now, if you’ve noticed, the summary is completely the same as my other story - hey there, brace face!. you may be wondering what i’m doing, and - to put it simply - this story is more or less a remake of htbf. it’s been two years since i first published htbf, and after reading it over recently, i’ve realized that the end product completely strayed from my original plan. as much as i am satisfied with the first story, i decided that for my personal amusement, i would try and rewrite it incorporating my original ideas while still retaining the charm of the first story.so what exactly is this remake supposed to bring? well, that’s a good question as i’m not completely sure myself! i don’t intend on completely scrapping what i’ve had before rather, i’d like to develop them even further - just like how real authors do it! they write out the first draft, have it edited by their editors, then write a second draft. in a way, you could say that this is htbf’s second draft! In this remake, i’ll be changing the way the characters are developed, changing around the sequence of events, removing/adding new events, removing/adding characters and many more.i don’t mean for this remake to be compared to the original as i like to think of them as both separate stories on their own (which sounds contradictory to what i just said in my previous paragraph; i swear it made more sense in my head), but they certainly will draw parallels to each other as they do stem from the same basic plot. i hope you all enjoy this story and continue giving support - i love you guys!
