(this is a one-shot!) Donghae and Jessica were friends, very close friends. Jessica has been in love with Donghae since she was young. Yet, she has never dared confess to him, and because she doesnt, Donghae now has a girlfriend. Jessica is crushed, absolutely, completely crushed... And, she starts hearing voices again... Foreword "Should I smile because youre my friend, or cry because thats all Ill ever be?"   Jessica remembered the innocent days when they were together. Just the both of them, with no-one in between. She fingered the laminated photo of both her and Donghae smiling widely. Donghae was 8 then. No matter what happens, we cant ever go back to that time again, can we? Jessica smiles wistfully.  "Jessica! Jessica! Look!" Donghae cried out excitedly from the sandbox. Jessica ran over happily, excitedly. Because when Donghae was excited, Jessica would be excited too. When Donghae was sad, Jessica would be sad too. When Donghae was happy, Jessica would be happy too.  Jessica looked at the sand in the sandbox with interest. Donghae puffed out his chest, proudly. "Were going to be friends forever and ever! Because thats what I wrote here, and its going to stay here forever and ever, just like our friendship!" Jessica bobbed her head up and down, nodding in agreement with Donghaes statement.  She beamed at him, "No matter what happens, Ill always be here for you! Because thats what friends do for each other!"  "Ill be there for you too," Donghae looked seriously at Jessica and solemnly stuck out his pinky. Jessica hooked her pinky with his silently in return.  Ill be there for you, the wind seemed to whisper to Jessica now, because were friends.  And because thats what friends are supposed to do, right?
