They were a dignified looking couple, a graceful wife with her jolly husband. Mrs. Kim gave her permed hair a pat before reaching her hand out. "Jihyun," she said with a wide smile before her husband followed suit. They looked genuinely pleased for this engagement, something my father would share if he was around. He had mentioned this engagement, this entrapment, so many times, it was almost sad that he was not here to witness this."Hi Mrs. and Mr. Kim," I said forcing a soft smile, "Its a pleasure to meet you."Naturally, I glanced around the room to locate this fiancé of mine. Legs that had accompanied me on many walks in the park. Legs that were always entangled around mine when I woke up. Slowly lifting my head up, I noticed a pair of hands, hands that had caressed my cheeks and stroked my hair. Finally, I came to meet his eyes. Cold eyes that tore at my heart and reflected my shocked expression. "Kai..." I whispered before bringing my hands over my stomach, "Kai...".
