Getting to know each othe (1/1)

T/N: The words that are in bold, are the words the Eunhyuk are writing down on the piece of paper. Just to let you guys know, in case you're confused ^-^ Oh and I know this is quite a short chapter, but next chapter will be longer. And with more Eunhae moments kekekeke.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Siwon went home, taking a quick shower. He changed into clean clothes before rummaging through the closet for a bag. He found one that was big enough and threw in a few sets of clothes for Eunhyuk. He hesitated, then put some books in there too. He'll probably ask me to come here and get them later anyway. When he was finished, he started to walk out the door. Suddenly, his phone rang.Flipping his phone open, he saw that he had a new text message. "Siwon hyung! I know you want to come back here now, but can't you trust your friend? I'll take care of your brother, so don't you dare step out of your house until the clock says 5pm! Kekekeke sleep well!" He sighed, taking off his shoes and setting the bag onto the floor.He lay on the sofa, one arm slung over his head. Remembering how his brother looked last night, the gash on his cheek red and angry, his face as white as a sheet, he started to cry. His body shook slightly as the tears fell from his eyes. Hyuk ah, it's all hyungs fault. I'll make it up to you, I promise. He let himself give in to the sleepiness that was starting to wash over him. Slowly, slowly, his eyes closed and he fell asleep.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Eunhyuk opened his eyes slowly, trying to adjust to the brightness of his surroundings. He heard a voice, and turning to the source of it, he saw Donghae. He was holding a book in his hands, reading it out to him. Eunhyuk tried to call out to him, but his throat was too dry. What came out instead was a pathetic whimper. Donghae looked up nonetheless, shocked to see him awake."H-hey, Eunhyuk. Ummm, your brother's at home, I told him to rest. He'll be back soon." Eunhyuk managed a nod, then lay back down on his bed. Donghae looked at him with concern. "Here, sip this. The doctor said you shouldn't drink too much, though." He took the cup gratefully and had to use all his self control not to gulp all of it down in one shot.Donghae took the cup from him and set it down on the table. "So, umm. Oh!" He reached into his bag and took out the notes, giving it to him. "I copied the notes for your classes, other people helped too." Eunhyuk croaked out a "Thank you", taking the notes from him. An awkward silence settled between them. Donghae didn't know what to say to him, but he knew he had to try."So, your brother told me you like reading?" At that Eunhyuk's eyes lit up, and he nodded his head. Donghae smiled to himself. "What's your favourite book?" Eunhyuk frowned, and signalled for a pen and paper. Donghae searched through the drawers and found them, passing them to Eunhyuk. He began to write furiously on the paper.Donghae chuckled. "Is the name of the book that long?" Eunhyuk looked up, his cheeks puffed out. "Okay, okay, just write what you want. Take your time." At that, he smiled and continued to write on the paper. It made him grin, seeing him so excited about it. The more he watched Eunhyuk, the more he wanted to get to know him, to become his friend.He wanted to become close to him, this boy who loves reading, this boy who is so strikingly handsome, yet doesn't seem to know it. Donghae just sat there quietly, observing the now excited Eunhyuk, scribbling away on the paper. Hahahaha, he's so cute like that.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~The next day after school, Donghae went to the hospital again. Eunhyuk and him were already much more comfortable around each other, though there were still some times when they were awkward with nothing to say. Donghae entered the room happily. Eunhyuk heard the door open and greeted Donghae with a gummy smile."Do you know? That your gums show when you smile?" Donghae teasingly asked. Eunhyuk quickly closed his mouth, slightly embarrassed. He laughed. "It's fine, Eunhyuk. Your gummy smile is cute."  Eunhyuk smiled again, then grabbed the pen and paper and started to write again. Donghae walked over, sitting on the side of the bed, looking at what he was writing."You can just call me Hyuk." Donghae smiled and nodded. Just then, they heard a cough. They both looked up to see Siwon standing at the doorway. "I go away to get you some water and you two start having fun without me?" Eunhyuk smiled, spreading out his arms to hug his brother. Siwon hugged him tightly, then gave the water to him."I asked the doctor. He said your throat should be okay by tonight, it's just a side effect of your medicine." Eunhyuk nodded, then started to write on the paper again. "I want to sleep now. You two should get going, anyway. See you tomorrow! ^^" Siwon nodded, gave his brother one last hug, then walked out of the room. Donghae smiled and waved goodbye before following him out.They made their way out of the hospital. "It's weird, you know. Hyuk is normally very quiet around other people. It seems like he opened up to you, though." Donghae smiled, then said, "Why? You jealous? Think I'm going to steal your brother from you?" Siwon pulled him into a headlock and ruffled his hair. "Don't you dare you stupid fish! Hyukie is mineeeeeee!"Donghae laughed, "I know I know! I was just joking." Siwon let go of him and they chuckled. "Thanks, Hae. For taking care of him." Donghae just shrugged. "It's nothing. Besides, I'll always be there for you two. Always."
