Ive been planning this one for a while now, and I am super excited about it.Okay, so first off some fair warnings. First off, I do not use the angst tag lightly. In fact, I think this is the first time Ive used this particular tag (which is saying something to those of you who have read In Heaven). There will be angst, betrayal, and even character death. So, I would not read this fic if you are looking for sunshine and rainbows; I have a lot of other fics you can read if you need that fix. Secondly, I am purposely pushing myself with this story, which means that I will be breaking the usual tropes that exist in my stories and really trying for something different. You have been warned. There are also never enough tags, so I apologize if something (or someone) catches you by surprise. Ill try to rotate the tags per chapter, so hopefully you get fair warning of whats coming.This story came to me when I read about Tao of EXO being injured and facing all kinds of kerfuffles with his band. Ive never liked SME because I am hardcore Junsu bias, and I hate the way SME treated JYJ. But, this fic does not reflect any particular feeling towards SME but instead serves as me thinking through ideas of loyalty and love - particularly the boundaries between the two. It just happens that EXO and SME serve as a useful vehicle in this story - also, I just love Tao to pieces. I also drew inspiration from the BigBang Made tour trailer; I really just loved the thought of like a spy syndicate twist. Im not sure how this story will turn out, but I am definitely looking forward to trying something so far out of my comfort zone. I hope you will enjoy the ride, even if it gets rocky.Because the story in this one is so complex - it is a murder mystery - I will probably not be as fast with this one when it comes to updating. (Then again, my normal speed is so fast that I doubt this will be a concern.)
